Next Meeting: Thursday March 6th
Thanks to all who came to our Formal Portrait activity this past Thursday. It was fun! We have decided to make a minor adjustment to our meeting times for the coming months, meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month. Therefore our next meeting will be this coming Thursday March 6th in the computer lab. We are planning to take that time to enjoy some food and look at our formal portraits as well as the photos from our latest photo assignment "Low-perspective". If you have not contributed any low-perspective shots, please feel free to upload a few of them to the Flickr page. We will also be discussing the location and details of our next Photo Walk, which will take place on March 20th. Happy Shooting!

New Photo Assignment: low-perspective photos
Thank you, to everyone who turned out for our latest meeting. We enjoyed some yummy chocolate-covered peanut butter eggs made by Jill as we looked at the great photos you took. We also discussed and decided on our next Photography Club activity, which will be Formal Portraiture. This activity will take place on Thursday, February 28th from 3:30pm to 6pm at the school. See Mr. Caldwell or Mr. Jurina for more details. Make certain to bring a few outfits if you want to have a couple photos taken of yourself. You do not need to wear just formal clothing. You may be as creative as you want.
Our newest assignment, as seen above is called, "Low-Perspective". The rule is that you can take any photo, but the perspective must be no higher than 1 foot off of the ground. This includes the ground outside and your floors in your house. However, no other surface counts (such as your couch or bed). Don't forget to post your shots on our Flickr page. Have fun with this one!
